OUR TRAINING CONCEPT

At BODEWIG DRESSAGE we follow a holistic Approach to the training of horse and rider. Based on the knowledge we have gained at riding masters such as Dorothee Schneider, Klaus Balkenhol and Hubertus Schmidt acquired, we work real and fine according to the principles of classical ridingOur goal is to to train powerful, healthy, motivated and happy horses .

PERMEABILITY

A central goal of the training and of each individual unit. Transparency is the key to a healthy and finely ridden dressage horse.

BALANCE AND SELF-POSTPONEMENT

Building a stable balance so that the horse supports itself and the impulses of the hind leg are transported via the swinging back to the hand.

MOTIVATION AND JOY AT WORK

Promote the horse's motivation through varied and horse-friendly training methods in order to maintain joy and willingness to perform.

We attach particular importance to the joy and motivation of the horses during training. Because only a horse that works with enthusiasm can develop its full potential and form a harmonious, trusting Form a team. Our approach is individual and holistic: Each horse is considered individually in order to promote its strengths and respond specifically to its needs. We work varied and sensitiveto challenge the horses without overtaxing them.


We follow the principles of classical riding and place great emphasis on fine training from the young rider to the highest class. The focus is always on the supple, motivated and balanced horse, which moves with ease

HOLISTIC CARE FOR HORSES & RIDER

TRAINING THE HORSE

  • ideal accommodation and keeping conditions for the horses
  • Training as a team, Corinna & Robinson as head coaches
  • partial and full riding
  • tournament presentation and support
  • optimal, flexible support & individual training plans with appropriate regeneration phases
  • Holistic training, cooperation with competent partners: veterinarians, feed specialists, saddlers, farriers, physiotherapists
  • Daily paddock or pasture walk (also all day)
  • Optimal training conditions: a 20x60m riding hall, a 20x40m outdoor area, lunging area, riding area directly accessible from the farm (Spessart), SPA, oval horse walker
